This is a book for teens about a girl whose life changes dramatically after a meteor hits the moon, knocks it out of its course and pushes it closer to the earth. Devastating tidal waves, volcanic eruptions, decease and an arctic winter are just a few of the things her family has to deal with. I would not say that this a great literary achievement. The language is very straight-forward, a bit flat, and clearly adjusted för younger readers but the story is still a compelling one, at least for people like me who always try to imagine: what would happen if...
